On Monday, June 10, 2024, at the South Side High School Senior Awards evening, the Rockville Centre Education Foundation awarded a $1000 scholarship to senior Heather Cuevas.
The Foundation annually presents the scholarship to the South Side high school senior who best demonstrates in their submission how a Foundation grant(s) enriched their academic career.

In her submission, Heather expressed how the RVC Ed Foundation supported the "Artist in Residency" program featuring musician Eric Morales, which deepened & enriched her love and passion for music. His unique approach to music strengthened her technique and impacted her growth as a performer, especially regarding focus and attention. Heather was voted the senior class's most musical, and in the fall, she plans to continue her music studies at Hofstra University.

Congratulations to Heather Cuevas,
the 2024 Rockville Centre Education Foundation Scholarship recipient!
